Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville-Vanderbilt-Elliston Place

During a very bad ice storm, Hampton Inn was a refuge. The room was about $100 a night when it could have cost much more since the whole city needed a room because of electrical loss. We had two large dogs that were welcome. The bed was king sized and comfortable and the tv had enough channels to keep us entertained. There was a generous breakfast that was included in the price and Tammy, the breakfast goddess, kept the food well stocked and clean. There was coffee and tea 24 hours a day. Housekeeping was always cheerful and in fact all the workers did a fantastic job. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and a large park close by. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hampton Inn & Suites, Nashville- Vanderbuilt Elliston has great customer care and spacious, clean rooms. It is just far enough away from the hubbub of the downtown bar scene to feel homey. There are eateries within walking distance and it is a safe neighborhood. My family enjoyed our stay here!

We were tired from a 12 hour drive and where able to check in early so that was great! The location was perfect. It was a Nice and quiet atmosphere we got to rest at anytime of the day if we wished to. Breakfast was always good! What I didn’t like is our room was cleaned but needs to be better serviced and maintained. The shower head was moldy and the shower tiles had mildew. We stayed Friday through Monday the room never got serviced therefore no trash was picked up or extra towels brought so BYOT. The housekeepers seemed to be still cleaning rooms after 3PM. Perhaps short staffed? When call front desk to inquire about towels we were told sorry we don’t have any they are all on the washer GREAT response! The houseman was able to bring some towels up so appreciate him. Front desk didn’t even attempt to reach out to bring us some when clearly they had them available.

Excellent location to downtown, music row, and Vanderbilt hospital. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a motel. We had a king room with a pullout couch. Had plenty of pillows which usually isn't the case. The breakfast was really good. They serve breakfast from 6-10. The girl started clearing stuff out about 9 and I think she should not try to clear stuff early. The eggs, smoked sausage and potatoes were good. The bagels were fresh. The coffee was strong and hot like it should be. They had a single waffle iron and one that made four mini waffles. I had the four mini ones and they were great. Would have loved to had biscuits and gravy but you can't have it all. Bacon would have been nice too and maybe some pastries.

A little bit of wear and tear but absolutely clean and comfortable. Great location for university and hospital. Very good value.

We have stayed here many times and we have enjoyed our stay everytime. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are always clean and the breakfast is always great. They have a large outdoor pool, and nice little exercise room. It is within walking distance to the Parthenon and plenty of restaurants. I would definitely recommend this location.

The hotel itself was fine. Our only real complaint was the lack of breakfast items. Breakfast was supposed to be served until 10:00, but at 9:00 nearly everything was empty and everyone was sitting around complaining because of the lack of food. There were only eggs and cereal left. Waffle batter was empty. Potatoes were gone. Bagels, toast, and muffins were empty. A worker was there cleaning the food area, but never restocked anything. We waited from 8:50 until 9:30 but no other food was ever brought out. The photos below were taken at 9:00am, one hour before breakfast ended.

Didn't tell me when I booked the hotel that parking wasnt included. Charged $42 to park at the hotel overnight. Need to inform people when they book the room
